About The Position

Stovepipe Wells, located in Death Valley National Park, is seeking a Seasonal Dishwasher to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and work areas, ensuring compliance with CA Food Handling Safety Standards. The resort offers a unique work environment within a National Park, providing accommodations and services to visitors. Requirements

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Ability to maintain CA Food Handler Card.
• Ability to wear clean, proper footwear.
• Ability to be dressed for work in a clean, pressed, and complete uniform with nametag.
• Ability to be helpful and professional with coworkers.
• Ability to start and end shifts on time.
• Ability to leave stations clean, organized, sanitized, and prepared for the following shift.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from Sous Chefs and F&B Manager.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, visitors, servers and coworkers.
• Ensure the kitchen and work areas are clean and sanitized, maintaining good housekeeping and proper labeling and storage in line with CA Food Handling Safety Standards.
• Maintain a flexible schedule and provide coverage support as needed to ensure operational continuity.
• Maintain CA Food Handler Card and follow set practices in the kitchen environment.
• Complete all cleaning and sanitizing protocols, wear gloves, in line with food safety.
• Report illness to the management team when ill and not working.
• Answer server and guests’ questions via the servers, being friendly and accommodating.
• Be dressed for work in a clean, pressed, and complete uniform with nametag.
• Wear clean, proper footwear.
• Be helpful and professional with coworkers, respectfully starting and ending shifts on time, and leaving stations clean, organized, sanitized, and prepared for the following shift.
• Accept new responsibilities and transfer others as the role evolves.
