About The Position

Stein Eriksen Lodge is seeking a Dishwasher for a Winter Seasonal role. This position assists in cleaning dishes and properly storing all items throughout the Stein Collection at various Food and Beverage Outlets. The ideal candidate must be able to move and lift up to 50 lbs and stand and walk for extended periods.

Requirements

• Ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Operates an automatic dishwashing machine that cleans and washes plates, cups, saucers, silverware, glasses and other dishes.
• Cleans cooking utensils and other kitchen equipment by hand.
• Collects garbage from various stations in the kitchen transporting it to the loading dock.
• Checks chemicals and soaps daily.
• Uses one sink full of hot soapy water to wash dishes instead of rinsing with spray hose. Changes the hot water as needed.
• Takes trash to dumpster.
• Keeps machines clean.
• Sweeps and mops walk-in every night.
• Returns dishes to the correct station.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Chef.
