About The Position

AmeriGas is hiring a safety-minded, customer-focused Seasonal Delivery Representative to deliver propane to customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on provided routes, filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers. Representatives must follow applicable federal and state codes and regulations, AmeriGas safety and operations policies, and requirements for personal protective equipment. Shifts may range from 8 to 12 hours depending on fluctuating needs. The position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions and lifting up to 70 pounds.

Requirements

Hold a valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
Have an acceptable driving record.
Satisfactorily complete a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
Be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
Be willing to submit to pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
Perform daily duties safely and comply with federal and state codes and regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
