About The Position

Lake Country Co-op is seeking to hire 10 part-time Seasonal Clerk/Cashiers for their Bear Country Fudge location in Emma Lake, Saskatchewan. This is a temporary position, running from May 30 to September 7, 2026. The role involves providing excellent customer service, operating the point-of-sale system, restocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Requirements

Minimum of 14 years of age.
Honest and trustworthy, results oriented, and strive to be the best in the work that you do.
Well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
Attentive to detail and have previous cash handling skills.
Ability to work alone or as in a team environment.
Familiar or willing to learn about Food Safe procedures and practices.
POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
Ability to fulfill physical job requirements – standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly.
Flexible work schedule including days, weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch point through various communication channels.
Product knowledge, whereabouts, and the ability to explain specific product details.
Serve guests, operate the point-of-sale system (POS) including processing payments & providing correct change.
Restock ice cream, general supplies and merchandise as necessary.
General housekeeping and cleanliness of store.
Come to work with a positive and professional attitude.
Prepare orders correctly and within company guidelines.
Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedures and standards.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
