About The Position

Lake Country Co-op is seeking to hire 10 part-time Seasonal Clerk/Cashiers for their Bear Country Fudge location in Emma Lake, Saskatchewan. This is a temporary position, running from May 30 to September 7, 2026. The role involves providing excellent customer service, operating the point-of-sale system, restocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Requirements

  • Minimum of 14 years of age.
  • Honest and trustworthy, results oriented, and strive to be the best in the work that you do.
  • Well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
  • Attentive to detail and have previous cash handling skills.
  • Ability to work alone or as in a team environment.
  • Familiar or willing to learn about Food Safe procedures and practices.
  • POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
  • Ability to fulfill physical job requirements – standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly.
  • Flexible work schedule including days, weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
  • Provide Legendary Service at all touch point through various communication channels.
  • Product knowledge, whereabouts, and the ability to explain specific product details.
  • Serve guests, operate the point-of-sale system (POS) including processing payments & providing correct change.
  • Restock ice cream, general supplies and merchandise as necessary.
  • General housekeeping and cleanliness of store.
  • Come to work with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Prepare orders correctly and within company guidelines.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedures and standards.
  • Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
