Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Gas Bar Clerk at our Shellbrook Corner location in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan. Lake Country Co-op does business differently. Requirements

You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do
You are attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills
You have an ability to fulfill physical job requirements – standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly
You have POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
You must be 19 years of age or older
You must be willing and able to obtain your Serve it Right certification

Responsibilities

Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Provide in-store service; serve guests, operate the point of sale (POS) system, stock shelves, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties.
Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company and government policies, procedures, and standards in social responsibility of the selling of age restricted items such as lottery, tobacco, liquor.
Ensure a culture of safety while maximizing operational efficiency.
Have a good working understanding of the POS system.
Receive, price and display merchandise as required specified by the team leader.
Complete the necessary daily reconciliations and reports.
Position is primarily based in the C-Store/Gas Bar, with cross-support in the Wine, Spirits, and Beer department as needed.
Support and follow the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
