About The Position

Lake Country Co-op is seeking a part-time Produce Clerk for its Food Store location in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. The role reports to the Produce Team Leader.

Requirements

Honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and proud of the work done.
Well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervision.
Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
Ability to fulfill physical labor job requirements – standing, performing regular heavy lifting, and frequent operation of a pallet jack.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
Flexible work schedule; applicant must be available to work morning shifts.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles with a strong customer-focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Unload freight and ensure produce is properly stored and displayed.
Prepare products to Lake Country Co-op standards while maintaining production records.
Keep a clean and well-maintained department.
Procure, receive, and display product with a focus on well-organized, visually appealing presentation.
Follow all Food Safe and Health and Safety regulations and practices.
Monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow first in, first out (FIFO).
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
