About The Position

Nordstrom Beauty Sales employees create personalized beauty experiences and help customers feel their best. This role engages customers to understand their needs and maximize sales across on-trend and luxury beauty brands. Employees conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommend products, build customer relationships in store and digitally, and contribute to an inclusive, welcoming team environment. The seasonal position requires availability from 11/22 through 12/24.

• Ability to meet the stated physical requirements, including continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching, frequent hand use, handling bulky items, and lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customers’ beauty goals.
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers.
• Set and achieve in-store and digital sales goals using selling tools, including text and social media.
• Book appointments and drive sales for in-store Beauty events and services.
• Keep the department organized, clean, and customer-ready.
• Stay current on beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through Nordstrom and brand-partner training.
• Manage sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Build customer loyalty by opening new Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
