About The Position

In Nordstrom’s Beauty Department, the Seasonal Beauty Sales employee helps customers feel their best by creating personalized beauty experiences and working as part of a passionate, inclusive team. The role focuses on engaging customers, understanding their needs, and maximizing sales for on-trend and luxury beauty brands. The employee is expected to be passionate about beauty trends, makeup, and skincare, and able to build a customer following both in store and digitally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customers’ beauty goals.
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers.
• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling, using selling tools including text and social media.
• Book appointments and drive sales for in-store Beauty events and services.
• Keep the department organized, clean, and customer-ready.
• Keep up with beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through training provided by Nordstrom and brand partners.
• Manage sales, refunds, and exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
