About The Position

In Nordstrom’s Beauty Department, the Seasonal Beauty Sales employee creates personalized beauty experiences and contributes to a passionate team. The role engages customers to understand their needs and maximize sales for on-trend and luxury beauty brands. Employees are expected to be passionate about beauty trends, makeup, and skincare, and to build a customer following both in-store and digitally.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customers’ beauty goals.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers.
Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools, including text and social media.
Book appointments and drive sales for in-store Beauty events and services.
Keep the department organized, clean, and customer-ready.
Keep up with beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through training provided by Nordstrom and brand partners.
Manage sales, refunds, and exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
