About The Position

As a member of Nordstrom's Beauty Department, the Seasonal Beauty Sales employee creates personalized beauty experiences for customers and contributes to a passionate, inclusive team. The role engages customers to understand their needs and maximize sales in on-trend and luxury beauty brands. It involves helping customers with makeup and skincare, building customer relationships in-store and digitally, and supporting sales goals, events, and department operations.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customers' beauty goals.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers.
Set and achieve in-store and digital sales goals using selling tools, including text and social media.
Book appointments and drive sales for in-store Beauty events and services.
Keep the department organized, clean, and customer-ready.
Stay informed about beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through Nordstrom and brand-partner trainings.
Manage sales, refunds, and exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
