About The Position

The Athletic Site Supervisor is responsible for preparing the site for activities, communicating with staff, participants, spectators, posting standings, monitoring activity progress, and ensuring safety. This role involves communicating issues and concerns to the Recreation Supervisor or their designee. The Site Supervisor may need to make sound decisions that are in the best interest of Beloit Parks and Recreation programming. This is a fall/winter seasonal position, running from September to March, with variable hours (approximately 4-15 hours/week).

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age upon employment
• Knowledge of a wide variety of activities
• Ability to handle difficult people/situations in a courteous and professional manner
• Ability to work accurately under pressure
• Must be creative, energetic, highly organized, motivated, dependable, patient and able to maintain discipline
• Must be capable of following directions
• Ability to grasp new skills
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to complete paperwork
• Ability to work well with others from different cultures and backgrounds
