About The Position

Build the Future with Us - Join WSP's Applied Solutions Group as a Site Supervisor and play a critical role in delivering complex field projects in the Vancouver Lower Mainland and Western Canada. Whether supporting environmental remediation, water treatment, civil infrastructure, or other multidisciplinary projects, you'll work alongside talented professionals to safely execute meaningful work that positively impacts communities, the environment, and industry. Based in Port Moody or Burnaby, BC, this role offers the opportunity to lead field operations on projects located primarily in the Vancouver Lower Mainland.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Mining Engineering Technology, Environmental Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5–7 years of experience supervising field-based construction, remediation, mining, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
  • Proven experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams in active site environments.
  • Working knowledge of construction methods, environmental remediation practices, site rehabilitation, and/or civil and infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
  • Exceptional organizational, teamwork, planning, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to adapt to changing site conditions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in remote or northern environments is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and champion a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with WSP's health, safety, and environmental standards across all project sites.
  • Coordinate daily field operations to support the successful delivery of environmental, water treatment, and civil construction projects.
  • Supervise site personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
  • Monitor, document, and report construction and field activities while maintaining accurate project records and site documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, technical specialists, consultants, clients, and contractors to achieve project objectives.
  • Resolve site challenges proactively while maintaining productivity, quality, and schedule commitments.
  • Communicate project progress, field observations, risks, and emerging trends to project leadership teams.
  • Contribute to successful project outcomes that support environmental stewardship, sustainable development, and long-term community value.
