About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You will welcome customers, help them explore baby essentials and other products, and support families through milestones such as a child’s first day of school. You will work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment that values team members’ skills and talents. This role provides an opportunity to learn and build skills, whether you are joining for a season or seeking a longer-term career.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and balance the needs of multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel services as needed to meet customer needs and provide a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
