About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You will welcome customers, assist them with product styles, features, and benefits, and help ensure a positive shopping experience in a busy retail environment. You will support in-store and omnichannel customer needs, process transactions, replenish merchandise, and communicate promotional events and the brand loyalty program. You will also help maintain a safe, clean store and minimize store loss through exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and balance multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
