About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you will represent the Carter’s brand and assist families through their shopping experiences. You will welcome customers, help them find products and understand product features and benefits, support omnichannel shopping, process transactions, replenish merchandise, and communicate promotions and the brand loyalty program. You will help maintain a safe, clean store and minimize store loss through exceptional customer service. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. The role is seasonal and pays $16.00–$18.25 per hour, based on experience and location.

Requirements

• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and serve multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel shopping as needed to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale and register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
