About The Position

The Seasonal Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role adheres to operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained across multiple store areas to support business needs.

The associate supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; accurately processes purchases and returns; promotes credit and loyalty programs; processes merchandise for the sales floor; and maintains merchandising, recovery, cleanliness, and safety standards. The role also supports store shrink-reduction goals, participates in safety awareness, gives and receives constructive feedback, follows applicable labor laws and company policies, and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Engage and interact with customers to deliver a highly satisfying customer experience.
• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide correct change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work in multiple store areas when cross-trained to support business needs.
