About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You will welcome customers, introduce them to products for babies and children, and help them find items for important moments in their parenting journey. You will work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment, supporting customers and contributing to a positive shopping experience. The position includes customer service, sales-floor, shipment, and point-of-sale tasks. Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $18.25 per hour, based on experience and location.

Requirements

• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed and frequently bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and help them understand product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and manage multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel services as needed to meet customer needs and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss through exceptional customer service and by maintaining a safe, clean store.
