About The Position

The Seasonal Associate delivers a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers and following customer-experience principles. The role maintains a clean, organized, and safe store environment; follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards; and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position is at the HomeGoods store at 3500 McCann Rd, Suite 100, Longview, Texas. Starting pay is USD $13.00 to $13.50 per hour, with actual pay depending on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage and interact with customers while modeling established customer-experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards, and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
• Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
