About The Position

TripAdvisor LLC is seeking a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Analyst to join an industry-leading, cross-disciplinary team of engineers, data scientists, and analysts managing one of the world's largest paid search programs. This role involves participating in large multinational marketing campaigns, identifying scalable SEM growth opportunities, and analyzing marketing data to derive actionable insights. The analyst will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to enhance tools and processes, optimize landing pages for performance, and stay current with SEM developments. A key aspect of the role is designing, executing, analyzing, and scaling testing outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, or related field (or foreign equivalent) and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a SEM Analyst-related occupation.
  • Demonstrable experience working as an SEM Analyst for large, complex e-commerce data driven sites.
  • Demonstrable experience utilizing Search Engine Marketing platforms, including Google AdWords and Bing Ads.
  • Demonstrable experience analyzing large amounts of data and producing actionable insight.
  • Demonstrable experience working on SEM across multiple international markets and running and interpreting creative and bidding tests, including A/B tests.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Excel or Google sheets including utilizing pivot tables to conduct data analysis and dashboard platforms for performance reporting.
