SDR Manager

OuttakeNew York, NY

About The Position

Outtake exists to empower and facilitate trust for a digital-first world. Today, impersonation, fraud, AI-driven scams, and identity abuse spread faster than any security team can respond to. So we built something different: an agentic AI platform that proactively detects, monitors and takes down impersonators and automates protection in hours, not weeks. Built by ex-Palantir, ex-CTO/founders, and ex-Notion engineers, Outtake is designed for clarity, autonomy, and velocity. Our goal is ambitious: become the trust layer of the modern internet. And we intend to do it with a lean, dense, exceptionally talented team. Our SDRs already set a high bar. They’ve independently reverse-engineered enterprise spam filter behavior to redesign our email infrastructure. Built AI-powered prospecting agents integrating tools with custom skills. Analyzed successful cold calls to extract what actually works and codify it. Developed sub-industry pain taxonomies from scratch to personalize outreach at scale. Shared competitor intelligence that reshaped our messaging across the team. Your job is to take that raw initiative and turn it into a machine. You’re the person who builds the system that captures what’s working, and multiplies it.

Requirements

  • Proven SDR leadership: 4+ years managing outbound sales development teams in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity, with a demonstrated track record of hitting qualified meeting quotas. You’ve built teams, not just managed them.
  • Systems builder: You don’t just manage — you design. You’ve built playbooks, territory maps, sequencing logic, and onboarding programs that persist after you leave the room. When you find what works, you codify it.
  • AI-native mindset: Fluency with AI tooling isn’t a nice-to-have — it’s how we operate. Our SDRs already use Claude-based agentic workflows wired into HubSpot, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, Granola, and more to eliminate route overhead from the prospecting motion. You should be excited to lead in this environment and push it further.
  • Technical fluency: Our buyers are CISOs, Threat Intel leads, and brand protection teams. You’ll help reps understand digital risk protection deeply enough to lead with real pain — not generic features. Cyber experience is a plus; genuine intellectual curiosity is a must.
  • Coaching instinct: You can listen to a cold call, identify the moment it went sideways, and give the rep one concrete thing to fix before the next dial. You’ve built feedback loops that make teams faster, not just busier.
  • Data orientation: You know which KPIs matter — qualified meetings, pipeline generated, conversion rates by vertical — and which are noise. You’ve used data to drive messaging pivots, territory decisions, and rep coaching.
  • Recruiter and culture builder: You know what smart, curious, conscientious, and gritty look like in an interview. You’ve hired people who proved you right.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage a growing team of SDRs — setting goals, running 1:1s, coaching live calls, and calibrating performance week over week. Build a culture of accountability and learning.
  • Own the outbound motion end to end — from ICP prioritization and territory design to sequence strategy, messaging frameworks, and call scripts. Build on what’s working (our SDRs have already derived a cold call framework from successful calls and a pain taxonomy across threat categories). Ruthlessly cut what isn’t.
  • Own SDR contribution to pipeline, measured in qualified meetings booked and revenue sourced from SDR-initiated deals. Our current bar: 500 calls/week and 200 emails/week per rep. Your job is to make sure every one of those touches counts.
  • Partner with the team to build, iterate, and institutionalize AI-powered workflows across the SDR stack. Our SDRs have already built Claude-based skills for signal scanning, contact discovery, persona-calibrated outreach drafting, sequence enrollment, and CRM logging. You’ll help evolve this into our competitive advantage.
  • Work tightly with AEs on handoff quality and call prep, with marketing on ICP, campaigns, and content, and with the founding team on market signal and competitive positioning. Our SDRs are treated as a source of market intelligence.
  • Own SDR hiring from sourcing to final round. We look for four core traits: smart, curious, conscientious, and gritty. You’ll know them when you see them and you’ll know how to close them.

Benefits

  • 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision for employees.
  • Flexible PTO. We trust adults to manage energy, not clock time.
  • Annual company retreats and regular in-person events.
