About The Position
Responsible for directing the work of the billing department within the clinic. Supervises billing specialists in an inpatient and/or outpatient office. Coordinates activities and schedules work assignments to meet billing deadlines. Resolves complex patient billing inquiries and problems. Monitors performance of staff, makes hiring decisions and conducts performance appraisals. Provides leadership, guidance and support focusing on quality services and compliance with company standards.
