About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Scrum Master to join our Data & AI Products team. This role is crucial for enabling scaled delivery across our Data & AI products, driving coordination across numerous agile teams, and ensuring alignment from portfolio priorities down to team-level execution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SAFe environments, experience managing complex, multi-team, and multi-vendor deliveries, and a strong ability to manage dependencies and prioritize backlogs. You will be instrumental in fostering execution discipline, maintaining delivery visibility, removing systemic friction, and supporting complex Data & AI delivery, including AI/ML models, data pipelines, platforms, and applications. This is a contract role requiring a strong bias for execution, ownership, and accountability, with excellent communication skills to drive clarity and alignment across diverse teams.

Requirements

8-10 years of experience as IT Scrum Master
3+ years of experience in IT delivery, Agile programs, or Scrum leadership roles
5+ years of experience supporting enterprise Data & Analytics or AI initiatives
Proven experience working in a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment
Experience operating across large, multi-team and multi-vendor delivery environments
Strong capability in backlog prioritization support and dependency management
Demonstrated ability to scale delivery beyond a single team to a platform or portfolio level
Ability to quickly learn new tools, processes, and technologies and adapt to change
Comfortable working across data platforms, AI/ML initiatives, and engineering teams
Strong bias for execution, ownership, and accountability
Direct communicator who can drive clarity, alignment, and action across diverse teams

Responsibilities

Enable scaled delivery across Data & AI products
Drive coordination across 10+ agile teams
Align multiple teams working on shared data, AI, and platform capabilities without slowing delivery
Operate effectively within a SAFe environment
Support PI planning, execution, and cross-team alignment across Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
Ensure work is aligned from portfolio priorities down to team-level execution
Drive execution discipline
Enforce strong backlog hygiene, sprint readiness, and clear acceptance criteria
Ensure teams execute consistently with a focus on outcomes, not ceremonies
Own backlog prioritization support
Partner with Product Owners to maintain a well-prioritized, clearly defined backlog
Ensure prioritization reflects business impact, dependencies, and platform constraints
Manage dependencies end-to-end
Identify and actively manage dependencies across products, teams, and shared services
Prevent bottlenecks across data, AI/ML, infrastructure, and application layers
Coordinate across large, multi-vendor teams
Enable alignment and execution across internal teams, contractors, and external vendors
Drive accountability and clarity in environments with distributed ownership
Maintain delivery visibility at scale
Track progress using consistent metrics (velocity, throughput, cycle time, blockers)
Provide clear, actionable updates on risks, timelines, and delivery health
Remove systemic friction
Identify recurring issues (tooling gaps, access delays, unclear ownership, process inefficiencies)
Implement solutions that reduce operational overhead and improve throughput
Support complex Data & AI delivery
Coordinate delivery across AI/ML models, data pipelines, platforms, and applications
Balance experimental AI work with production-grade platform delivery
Coordinate release readiness across products
Align releases across multiple product lines sharing infrastructure and data dependencies
Ensure readiness across security, data, integration, and platform layers
