About The Position

The Scrum Master ensures the team produces high-quality software that provides tangible value to customers. This role coaches multiple software delivery teams in an Agile environment, using servant leadership, organizational, and motivational strengths to help teams maximize their potential and promote self-organization. The Scrum Master leads delivery teams that support internal and external customers using the Agile/Scrum framework. The position is based at ISN’s Dallas, Texas office. Employees must live within commuting distance; relocation is required for candidates who are not already in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. In-person attendance is required at least two days per week during the first 90 days. After the 90-day review, attendance is required at least one day per month and for certain meetings and tasks, including stakeholder and customer collaboration, team collaboration days, ISN and team events, and performance reviews. Offers are contingent on successful completion of a drug screen and background check.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
At least 3 years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master, with working knowledge of Agile practices in the IT industry.
Experience working on consumer-facing products, preferably B2B SaaS applications.
Completed Scrum certification.
Proven Scrum Master experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and support for multiple Software Engineering teams.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar work management tools.
Must be within commuting distance of the Dallas, Texas office, or relocate to the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
In-person attendance at least two days per week during the first 90 days; afterward, at least one day per month and as required for certain meetings and tasks.
Successful completion of a drug screen and background check as a condition of a job offer.

Responsibilities

Coach and facilitate teams through Scrum events and mentor them in Scrum values according to the Scrum Guide.
Guide multiple Scrum teams in successfully delivering customer product increments.
Steward the Scrum process, ensuring teams follow Scrum values and practices.
Coach company development teams and the wider organization in Agile best practices and in selecting appropriate processes, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies as needed, including daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
Provide reports and requested analyses on Scrum team goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Use approved AI-powered tools and automation to improve productivity across daily work and applicable Software Development Life Cycle activities, such as requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and operations.
Support the change management process for updates to ISNetworld and Empower applications and environments.
