About The Position
Accenture Flex is hiring an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery teams and drive successful outcomes. The role enables software development teams to function effectively using Agile methodologies. The Scrum Master coaches and mentors Scrum teams, removes obstacles, facilitates Agile ceremonies, and tracks progress through appropriate metrics. The position also involves coordinating with stakeholders, supporting team development, promoting continuous improvement, and championing Agile principles across the organization. This is a local, fixed-duration, project-based Accenture Flex role. Client work is onsite four days per week in Jersey City, New Jersey, or Pennington, New Jersey. Accenture Flex employees work in their local metro area, reducing or eliminating travel demands.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of IT work experience.
- Expert proficiency in Agile Scrum project management.
- Scrum Master or Agile delivery experience.
- Associate degree.

- Advanced proficiency in Agile project delivery.
- Advanced proficiency in Scrum methodology and Jira operations.
Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor Scrum teams.
- Remove obstacles that hinder team progress.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identify and report progress using appropriate metrics.
- Collaborate with and manage the team to support effective performance.
- Take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems within the immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Identify and implement Agile best practices to improve team productivity and delivery quality.
- Share knowledge and foster a collaborative environment to support team members' development and growth.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align project goals and resolve dependencies or risks in a timely manner.
- Analyze team performance metrics, provide actionable insights, and promote transparency across projects.
- Champion Agile principles and values to encourage organizational adaptability and innovation.
