About The Position

Accenture Flex is hiring an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery teams and drive successful outcomes. The role enables software development teams to function effectively using Agile methodologies, coaches and mentors Scrum Teams, removes obstacles, facilitates Agile ceremonies, and tracks progress using appropriate metrics. The Scrum Master is expected to serve as a subject matter expert, help teams perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage across multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and solve problems within and across teams. The role drives continuous improvement by implementing Agile best practices to improve productivity and delivery quality. It supports team members’ development through knowledge sharing and collaboration, coordinates with stakeholders to align project goals and resolve dependencies or risks, analyzes performance metrics to provide actionable insights and transparency, and champions Agile principles and values across the organization. The role requires onsite client work four days per week in Jersey City, New Jersey, or Pennington, New Jersey. Accenture Flex employees work in their local metro area on project-based assignments, reducing or eliminating travel demands. Requirements

At least 5 years of IT work experience.
Expert proficiency in Agile Scrum Project Management.
Scrum Master or Agile delivery experience.
Associate degree.

Nice To Haves

Advanced proficiency in Agile Project Delivery.

Responsibilities

Coach and mentor Scrum Teams.
Remove obstacles that hinder team progress.
Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Identify and report progress using appropriate metrics.
Collaborate with and manage the team to support effective performance, taking responsibility for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to problems within and across teams.
Identify and implement Agile best practices to improve team productivity and delivery quality.
Support team members’ development by sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative environment.
Coordinate with stakeholders to align project goals and resolve dependencies or risks in a timely manner.
Analyze team performance metrics, provide actionable insights, and promote transparency across projects.
Champion Agile principles and values to encourage adaptability and innovation.
