About The Position

We are seeking a Scrub Tech to join our team. This is a variable shift position covering 7 days a week. The operating room operates from 0645-2315, with shifts potentially varying based on department needs. Applicants will be scheduled for 40 hours a week, with a possibility of 32 hours if a holiday falls within the week. Call is covered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with an average of 1-2 calls per week and up to 2 weekends per month. The call back time is 20 minutes. We have 1-2 outpatient GI labs, with 1-2 rooms running simultaneously daily. This is a small, but very busy and efficient OR. Scrubs are provided. The applicant will orient on day shift for up to a week or until the manager's discretion. Travelers must complete a minimum of 39 shifts during the contract duration if requested time off is requested. A State of Hawaii license is required and must be obtained by the start of the assignment if not already possessed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of scrubbing cases in a hospital setting
• Active State of Hawaii license (must be obtained by start of assignment if not currently possessed)
• BLS/BCLS certification

Responsibilities

• Help with turn over cleaning
• Transport patients when needed
• Independently scrub General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology procedures.
