About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Scrub Tech to join our team. This is a variable shift position covering 7 days a week, with operating hours from 0645 to 2315. Applicants will be scheduled for 40 hours a week, with a possibility of 32 hours if a holiday falls within the week. The role involves call duties 24/7, averaging 1-2 times a week, plus up to 2 weekends a month, with a 20-minute call back time. Our OR is a small, busy, and efficient unit with 1-2 outpatient GI labs, running 1-2 rooms simultaneously daily. Scrubs are provided. Orientation will be on day shift for up to a week or at the manager's discretion. Travelers must complete a minimum of 39 shifts during the contract duration if requested time off is granted.

Requirements

• Active State of HI license required by the start of the assignment
• Minimum of 2 years of scrubbing cases in a hospital setting
• BLS/BCLS certification

Responsibilities

• Help with turn over cleaning
• Transport patients when needed
• Independently scrub General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology procedures
• Cover call 24 hours a day 7 days a week
• Orient on day shift for up to a week or until manager’s discretion
