HI - RN Flex Pool - Days (09/21)
About The Position
This is a Registered Nurse position in the Flex Pool for Day shifts. Candidates must possess an active Hawaii State license by the start of the assignment. Medical and religious exemptions will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity. The role involves floating between various medical and surgical units. The shift is 12-hours, from 06:45 to 19:15, with 36 scheduled hours per week after the first week of orientation. There is no guarantee of hours. Equipment utilized includes Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes. The nurse to patient ratio on the Medical unit is 1:6 for days and evenings, and 1:8 for nights. On the Laulima unit, the ratio is 1:6. On the Cardiovascular unit, the ratio is 1:4. Ratios may vary due to unexpected leaves. The dress code is professional nursing attire with clean scrubs. Orientation time is provided for each unit.
Requirements
- Active State of Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment.
- 2-10 years of experience.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.

Responsibilities
