HI - RN Flex Pool - Days (06/29)
About The Position
This is a Registered Nurse (RN) position for a Flex Pool, working day shifts. Candidates must possess a Hawaii RN license by the start of the assignment. Medical and religious exemptions will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity. The role involves floating between various medical and surgical units. The shift is 12-hours, from 06:45 to 19:15, with a scheduled 36 hours per week after the first week of orientation. There is no guarantee of hours. Equipment used includes Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes. The dress code is professional nursing attire with clean scrubs. Training and orientation will be provided for each unit.
Requirements
- Active State of Hawaii RN license required by the start of the assignment.
- 2-10 years of experience.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- PALS certification.
- Procedural Sedation certification.
- TNCC certification.
- ENPC certification.
Responsibilities
- Float between various medical and surgical units.
- Provide nursing care on Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions).
- Administer patient care according to professional nursing standards.
- Utilize Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes.
