About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This position is variable, and the OR operates Monday through Friday from 06:45 to 23:15. The OR suites include 6 rooms plus one dedicated to C-sections, with 4 to 6 rooms running simultaneously daily. This is a small but very busy and efficient OR. The role involves circulating cases, assisting with turnover cleaning, transporting patients when needed, and scheduling cases. Call coverage is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with assignments averaging 1-2 times per week plus up to 2 weekends per month. A 30-minute radius from the hospital is required for call-back. Orientation will be on the day shift for up to one week or as per manager's discretion. Travelers are scheduled for 40 hours a week, with a possibility of 32 hours if a holiday occurs. A minimum of 39 shifts must be completed during the contract duration if RTO is requested and approved.

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years at minimum of circulating cases in a hospital setting
• BLS, State of Hawaii RN license required
• Must be within 30 minute radius of hospital for call back
