About The Position

This role involves assisting with turnover cleaning and transporting patients as needed. The scrub tech will be expected to independently scrub a variety of procedures including General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology. The department operates from 0645-2315 with variable shifts based on department needs, scheduled for 40 hours a week, with a possibility of 32 hours if a holiday occurs. Call is covered 24/7, with an average of 1-2 calls per week and up to 2 weekends per month, requiring a 20-minute call-back time. The facility includes 1-2 outpatient GI labs, with 1-2 rooms running simultaneously daily. Applicants will orient on day shift for up to a week or until the manager's discretion. Travelers must complete a minimum of 39 shifts if requested time off is granted.

Requirements

Active State of HI license required by start of assignment
Minimum of 2 years of scrubbing cases in a hospital setting
Ability to scrub General procedures
Ability to scrub Orthopedic procedures
Ability to scrub Vascular procedures
Ability to scrub Ophthalmic procedures
Ability to scrub Urology procedures
Ability to scrub ENT procedures
Ability to scrub Endoscopy procedures
Ability to scrub Robotic procedures
Ability to scrub Obstetrics procedures
Ability to scrub Gynecology procedures
Be available for call 1-2 times a week
Be available for call up to 2 weekends a month
20 minute call back time
