About The Position
Staples Promotional Products, a division of Staples, provides customized merchandise solutions to help customers build their brands. The Screenprint Printer prints products with accurate placement, sets up basic and complex jobs on automated and manual printers, and inspects screen-printed products for quality. This piece-rate position starts at $19.75 per hour. The schedule is 6:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 6:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Friday.
Requirements
- Ability to support teamwork.
- Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions and write identifying information.
- Reliable attendance and follow-through on job-related commitments.
- High school diploma/GED, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and work experience.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, push/pull, and twist.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Basic English verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Prior screen-printing experience.
Responsibilities
- Print products with accurate placement.
- Set up basic and complex jobs on automated and manual printers.
- Inspect screen-printed products for quality.
- Check hard card or repeat samples for correct reproduction of artwork.
- Keep accurate counts.
- Assist other positions with the screen-printing process as needed.
- Adhere to all safety procedures while performing job duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
