About The Position

The Scorekeeper updates facility scoreboards and keeps statistics during various games. This position is not eligible for remote work. The employee maintains scoreboards during scheduled games, records game statistics, communicates with officials, and manages music during play stoppages at SSHL, high school, and tournament games. The role involves working in an office and rink environment, where noise levels are usually moderate. Other tasks and duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Knowledge of ice hockey.
• Ability to multitask, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the scoreboard(s) during scheduled games.
• Accurately record statistics, including points, penalties, shots, and player eligibility.
• Communicate with officials regarding game sheets, score adjustments, and related matters.
• Manage music during play stoppages at SSHL, high school, and tournament games.
