About The Position

The Scientist II Production Operations for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for following established operation procedures, maintaining appropriate training records for your role, sustaining a smooth flow of material, and the execution of work orders to on-time completion. This position reports to the Supervisor of Reagent Operations and is part of Reagent Operations department located in Chaska, MN, and will be on-site. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a Science field / 3+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree in a Science field with 1-2+ years or relevant experience
Proven track record of good laboratory practices (GLP).
Proficient in executing manufacturing processes, strictly adhering to SOPs, written/verbal specifications, and all relevant FDA, GMP, and ISO regulatory requirements

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a regulated industry preferred (e.g. FDA, ISO)
Updating and improving SOPs to reflect current best practices and operational changes
Testing utilizing Access II, DxI800, and DxI9000 Instruments

Responsibilities

Execute the daily production plan to due date conformance and quality standards according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Independently execute work regarding buffer and reagent preparation using good laboratory practices; assistance in other areas as needed
Assure compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO regulatory requirements
Apply basic analytical skills or scientific methods to perform daily tasks
Work directly and cooperatively with cross-functional team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure emphasis on quality
