Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with three-plus (3+) years of experience in related scientific discipline or Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in related scientific discipline or equivalent experience in related field (Scientist II)
  • Master´s Degree from an accredited institution with three-plus (3+) years of experience in related scientific discipline, OR Bachelor´s Degree from an accredited institution with seven-plus (7+) years of experience in related scientific discipline or equivalent experience in related field (Scientist III)
  • Good understanding of basic scientific principles and research practices in the field of immunology
  • Prior research experience in molecular and immunological techniques such as cell isolation, ELISA/Luminex/MSD, tissue culture, and/or RT-qPCR
  • Basic Flow cytometry understanding, high-dimensional (multi-color) panel execution, and data analysis using software such as FlowJo (Scientist II)
  • Advance flow cytometry understanding, high-dimensional (multi-color) panel execution, design, and data analysis using software such as FlowJo (Scientist III)
  • Experienced in data analysis, interpretation of results, troubleshooting, and solving technical issues (Scientist II)
  • Proficiency in data analysis data, interpretation of results, troubleshooting, and solving technical issues independently (Scientist III)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with computers and data analysis software
  • Ability and willingness to work effectively in a highly collaborative research environment under supervision (Scientist II)
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative research environment with limited supervision (Scientist III)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with in vitro assay systems to evaluate immune cell function is preferred (Scientist II)
  • Prior research experience in immunological assay development/optimization is desirable (Scientist III)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct experiments aimed at target identification and validation using molecular and cellular immunological approaches
  • Design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments independently and efficiently
  • Analyze, record data and effectively communicate results
  • Keep abreast of relevant literature and technologies to expand scientific/technical knowledge
  • Collaborate with members of Cancer Immunology and other departments (i.e., Inflammation & Respiratory; Immune Regulation) when required to support project advancement and decision making
  • Prepare and deliver internal scientific presentations and reports as needed
  • Operate and maintain lab equipment
  • Comply with applicable regulations, performing all work in a safe manner
  • Maintain proper records in accordance with SOPs and policies.
