CAMP4 is seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join our Discovery team and contribute to the advancement of CNS programs from target selection through candidate nomination. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent PhD graduate with a strong background in neuroscience or a related discipline who is interested in applying functional neuroscience approaches to drug discovery. A primary responsibility of this role will be to develop and establish functional and phenotypic assays in human iPSC-derived neuronal models to support target validation and characterize the activity of candidate ASOs. The successful candidate will apply approaches such as multielectrode array (MEA), calcium imaging, and high-content imaging to characterize disease-relevant neuronal phenotypes and to evaluate rescue by candidate ASO. The Scientist will work closely with members of the Discovery team as well as cross-functional colleagues in Platform, Chemistry, Preclinical and Data Science. We are looking for a curious, rigorous, and collaborative Scientist who enjoys developing new experimental approaches and translating biological questions into robust cellular assays.
