Scientific Applications Support Intern
About The Position
The Scientific Applications Support Intern is responsible for providing day-to-day operational and administrative support to Scientists and Specialists by assisting with data review, maintaining documentation and knowledge resources, and generating reports and support metrics. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Scientific Applications Support and is part of the Scientific Applications Support team in Coralville, Iowa and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Provide day-to-day support to Scientists and Specialists. Update internal knowledge base, documentation, and training resources. Generate reports and analyze support metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a scientific, technical, or related field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology)
- 0–2+ years of laboratory, research, internship, customer service, or technical support experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to review, organize, and maintain accurate data and documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
