Applications Engineering Intern
About The Position
Qorvo's Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. Qorvo offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities, as available. Qorvo’s Internship Program offers: Challenging, skill-building assignments, Mentoring and coaching from industry experts, Launch & Learns and other learning opportunities, Collaborative team-based work environment, Networking and social events, Final presentation to business leaders. Qorvo’s Applications Engineering Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS, or MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum GPA of 3.3
- Completed some sophomore year in Electrical Engineering
- Basic understanding of analog circuits
- Exhibits a high level of analytical thinking and resourcefulness in identifying challenges, evaluating options, and implementing effective solutions
- Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrates the ability to rapidly acquire new knowledge and skills
- Possesses strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a proven capacity to convey complex information clearly and effectively
Responsibilities
- Lab measurements (automated and manual tests)
- Designing, building, and testing PCBs
- Reviewing and troubleshooting customer designs and issues
- Creating marketing collateral including datasheets or application notes
- Data analysis and report generation
- Data review with other engineers
Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr - $42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location)
