About The Position
Westminster Christian Academy is accepting applications for a Science Teacher for the 2027-28 school year. We seek individuals who are driven by excellence, care deeply about their students, and are willing to develop healthy, nurturing relationships in and outside the classroom. Westminster Christian Academy honors Jesus Christ by providing an excellent education, rooted in biblical truth as interpreted by the Westminster Confession of Faith, for the children of Christian parents. Faculty and staff enable students to discover and embrace a biblical view of the world and integrate that view into every area of life. This is a general posting for potential openings next school year.
Requirements
- A clear testimony of a personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ
- Membership or faithful attendance at an approved Protestant church congregation
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Education w/ Science emphasis
- Passion to integrate Science and Christianity in teaching approach
- Solid understanding of the reformed faith
- Strong classroom management skills
- Strong professional or collegiate references
- Two professional references submit our Faculty Candidate Evaluation on their behalf
- One Pastor Reference submitted on their behalf
Nice To Haves
- Teaching certification in science
- Experience in secondary school setting
