Science Teacher (9-12) at NCS Digital
About The Position
NCS Digital is seeking a Science Teacher for grades 9-12. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Ohio High School certificate/license for Life Science or Integrated Science 7-12 and be aware of the social and emotional needs of each individual student. This role requires knowledge and/or experience teaching various levels of high school Life Science, the ability to drive instruction with data, and differentiate instruction for all learners. Collaboration with colleagues for interdisciplinary integration, and a willingness to engage in co- or extra-curricular activities are essential. The position also requires evidence of successful classroom management and instructional skills, experience or knowledge of team teaching, and the ability to incorporate technology into the classroom. The teacher will be expected to teach intervention skills outside of Life Science, demonstrate knowledge of Life Science standards, and show interest in students beyond the classroom. The applicant must be acceptable to the Building Principal and Assistant Superintendent of Certificated/Licensed Personnel.
Requirements
- Hold valid Ohio High School certificate/license for Life Science or Integrated Science 7-12
