About The Position

Treehouse Learning Center LLC is hiring a School Van Driver (7D) in Lynn, Massachusetts, to provide safe and reliable transportation for school-age children. This is an on-the-road position based in Lynn, Massachusetts. The expected hours are 20-30 per week, depending on assigned routes and availability, with a split shift schedule Monday through Friday, generally from 6:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Exact hours depend on the assigned route. The pay rate is $19–$23 per hour, and an attendance bonus is offered.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have held a valid driver’s license for at least three consecutive years.
Must have a satisfactory driving record.
Must be able to pass required background screening, including CORI and SORI.

Nice To Haves

A Massachusetts 7D school pupil transport certificate is preferred at the time of application. Candidates who do not yet have the certificate may receive guidance through the application and certification process.

Responsibilities

Safely transport school-age children while following all state and federal traffic laws.
Operate sedans, minivans, full-size passenger vans, and wheelchair-accessible vans.
Assist students entering and exiting the vehicle and help secure seat belts, car seats, and booster seats as needed.
Communicate clearly with students, families, teachers, school staff, and dispatch.
Use a two-way radio system effectively.
