About The Position

The Guild of St. Agnes is seeking a 7D Driver in the Worcester, Massachusetts area to transport children from infancy through age 12. This is a Monday-through-Friday split-shift role, with routes varying in length. The driver must be available between 6:30 and 10:30 a.m. and again between 1:30 and 5:30 p.m. The position offers guaranteed pay for 40 hours per week, including paid holidays, training, and snow days.

The driver transports children using passenger buses, maintains safe driving and vehicle practices, communicates positively with families and colleagues, and supervises children by sight and sound. The role requires the ability to lift children weighing up to 40 pounds and knowledge of appropriate car-seat and seatbelt regulations. Employment is contingent on required background checks and pre-employment drug screening.

Requirements

• Ability to pass the required background checks, including CORI, DCF, fingerprinting, and the EEC background check.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to lift children weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Knowledge of car-seat and seatbelt regulations for children of various ages.
• Availability Monday through Friday between 6:30–10:30 a.m. and 1:30–5:30 p.m.
• Safe driving record in compliance with Massachusetts state law.
