About The Position

AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a supportive school team in Anoka County, MN, for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves working with educators, families, and special education professionals to help students strengthen their communication skills. Responsibilities include providing individualized and small-group therapy, participating in IEP planning, and creating evidence-based interventions to support academic and social success.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) SLP license or eligibility
  • Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility
  • Comfort supporting diverse, multilingual student populations
  • Clinical Fellows welcome

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for elementary students with a variety of communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based therapy plans aligned with each student's IEP goals.
  • Provide engaging individual and small-group speech-language therapy, including services for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Support and implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems, including programming devices, modeling use, and collaborating with staff and families to promote successful communication.
  • Partner with teachers, special education staff, occupational therapists, psychologists, and families to foster student growth across educational settings.
  • Participate in IEP meetings by contributing evaluation findings, progress updates, and recommendations for appropriate speech-language services and accommodations.
