Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric/child-focused environment is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group social work services that address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop effective intervention strategies.
- Conduct student assessments.
- Assist with crisis response and conflict resolution.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Connect students and families with community resources that promote long-term success.
