School-Based Licensed Social Worker ( LSW )
About The Position
PRO is hiring a School-Based Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to provide therapeutic services to children and adolescents in a school setting, supporting their social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. The caseload serves middle and high school students. This is a 10-month, full-time position in Scranton, Pennsylvania, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. PRO describes itself as a smaller, locally owned company that builds relationships with employees and supports their professional goals. The position offers paid training, ongoing mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth and advancement. Flexible scheduling is offered based on availability and client needs.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW).
- Active Pennsylvania Social Work License.
- Previous experience as a school-based LSW.
- Strong desire and motivation to work with children and youth with a behavioral or mental health diagnosis.
- Current clearances (within 6 months).
Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling using appropriate therapeutic strategies and techniques.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment goals.
- Serve as a resource for behavior management and self-regulation strategies.
- Engage in family outreach and connect families with community resources and supports.
- Monitor student progress.
- Maintain required clinical documentation.
