About The Position
A Social Worker, Bachelors provides social service and discharge planning functions for the hospital. The role provides resources for inpatients, outpatients, and Emergency Department patients, and supports the skilled unit designee when resources are unavailable. The Social Worker maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities. The position is PRN at Paris Regional Medical Center.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional social work experience.
- Previous experience in all aspects of social service and discharge planning.
- At least 1 year of experience in a medical setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide social services and discharge planning for the hospital.
- Provide resources for inpatients, outpatients, and Emergency Department patients.
- Support the skilled unit designee when resources are unavailable.
- Maintain performance improvement activities within the department.
- Participate in CQI activities.
