About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Social Worker for an elementary school setting near Arvada, CO. In this role, you'll support students in SSN (Significant Support Needs) and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) programs by promoting social-emotional well-being, partnering with families, providing counseling and crisis support, and collaborating with multidisciplinary school teams to help students thrive. This is a great fit for clinicians who enjoy collaborating with specialized education teams and making a meaningful impact on students' lives. We welcome both new and experienced clinicians!

Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field
Valid Colorado CDE Special Services Provider license with School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility by start date)
Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis response skills
Passion for supporting students’ mental health and well-being

Nice To Haves

School-based experience preferred, not required

Responsibilities

Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and social-emotional development
Support crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning as needed
Participate in IEP, MTSS, and student support team meetings
Conduct assessments related to social-emotional and behavioral needs
Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
Support attendance, engagement, and wraparound services for students and families
Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans
Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
Connect families to community resources and supports
