The School-Based Training and Operations Coordinator is a leadership role on the School-Based Team that supports both internal program operations and the development of strong, sustainable school mental health systems across districts from Aspen to Parachute. This position focuses on prevention, early intervention, training, and capacity building for educators, administrators, clinicians, and families to create responsive, trauma-informed, and supportive school environments. This role also leads tobacco and substance use prevention efforts, including staff training, school-based interventions, and collaboration with regional prevention initiatives. The position advances comprehensive school mental health systems by increasing mental health literacy, strengthening Tier 1–3 supports within the MTSS framework, improving system coordination, and enhancing collaboration between schools and mental health resources. A central focus is building staff capacity to identify and respond to student needs early, reducing escalation to more intensive levels of care.
