About The Position

Brigham Young University (BYU) is seeking two full-time faculty members for the Counseling Psychology and Special Education department, specifically in the area of School Psychology. This is a Professorial CFS track position, equivalent to tenure. The role involves teaching graduate-level courses, mentoring students, conducting independent research, and actively contributing to program enhancement and university goals. The successful candidates will also support the BYU-Public School Partnership and the university's mission. This position requires relocation to Utah.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in School Psychology (completed by start date)
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching graduate-level courses in school psychology content areas
• Strong record or clear potential for high-quality research in school psychology
• Experience mentoring and advising graduate students in field-based work and research
• Demonstrated excellence in working as a school psychologist in educational settings
• Licensed as a psychologist and school psychologist
• Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment
• If a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
• Must abide by the university’s Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
• Successful candidates are expected to support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrine of the affiliated church.
