About The Position

Orion Academy is seeking a part-time School Psychologist for a role scheduled for 4 hours per week. The position serves students at a K–8 school in Cincinnati, Ohio. The School Psychologist conducts psychological and psycho-educational evaluations, supports academic skill development, assists with Individual Education Plans (IEPs), provides counseling and resource referrals, and collaborates with the special education team.

Requirements

• Ohio State Board-approved School Psychologist license.
• Ohio Department of Education Pupil Services license with the School Psychologist endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret individualized standardized assessment instruments across psychological domains.
• Administer and guide staff in administering achievement tests.
• Conduct psychological and psycho-educational diagnostic and prescriptive evaluations of children.
• Provide interventions and instructional support to help develop academic skills.
• Assist with writing IEPs and consult on implementing IEP goals.
• Counsel students and parents and direct them to further resources when needed.
• Collaborate with the special education team to design and implement intervention strategies and programs.
